I hate how it pulls me,
Tearing at my self,
Making me scare me,
Hating everything,

One day it'll take it,
My choice of being me,

Left but misery,

Welling in the sorrow,
Welling in the shame,
Caught up in this Deep hole,
Crawling to be sane,

Digging deeper and farther,
Blindly following the craving,
Trying so hard to change me,
Trying so hard to be me,

Once that I was,

Once it all took me,
Once when I was free,

Now it's got me rounded,
Around it's little thumb,
It's caving in all around me,
Though my taste buds are ever numb,

I won't let it take me,
